Recently Apple settled its dispute with Cisco over the use of the ‘iPhone’ name but now it seems they are going to run into more trouble with the UK based touch sensor manufacturer Quantum Research . The firm has threatened to sue apple if it finds that Apple has infringed on its touch screen patent and they are examing the iPhone for the same .

The description of the iPhone suggests that it uses a real surface touch screen and has proximity sensing which can tell whether the phone is being held to the ear or not , which is a Quantum research capability .Now if Apple is using the charge transfer technology to give the phone that capability , it would be infringing the firm’s patent .

Italian Serie A sides Juventus , Lazio , Fiorentina have been demoted to Serie B for there involvement in Italian match Fixing Scandal . AC Milan , one of the clubs under investigation will stay in Serie A but will be docked 15 points for the new season and will also be kicked out of the Champions league . All the clubs have also been kicked out of Europe .

The most serious sufferers are Juventus also known as the old lady who will be competing outside Serie A for the first time since its formation . To make matters worse , it will also be docked 30 points which will make it two seasons in the Serie B guranteed . To add insult to injury , they will also be stripped of there last two Serie A titles . The Club which has enjoyed vast success over the last few years , now faces one of the most shameful events in the clubs history .

The clubs have three days to appeal against the decision which i think they will all do but still there European journey is over as the italian Football Federation has to submit the list of European participants by 25 July . This will also throw the transfer market wide open as Juventus has got some World Class players and i dont see them playing in Serie B . There top stars include Buffon , Thuram , Pavel nedved , Ibrahimovic , Trezeguet etc. For the next few days expect the transfer market to be in full swing .

Now it will be interesting to see whether Juventus will be able to recover from this and regain the lost Glory ..

Salman Khan (leading Bollywood Actor) was sentenced to 5 years rigrous imprisonment by a Local Court in Jodhpur and was also fined Rs 25000 for a case against poaching the endangered species of BlackBucks in a place 39km from JodhPur . The verdict was delivered on Monday for a case that dates back to as far as September 1998 . After the verdict He was taken directly to the central Jail amidst Tight Security and since the court was closed on Tuesday , he had to atleast stay in the jail for around 2 days .

In papers it was mentioned that in the jail and given the same treatment as given to others. He was made to stay in a small cell , even sharing it with an inmate who was there being accused of Murder . The food he got was the same as given to the rest - not very appetising for his taste . While the officers claimed that he was given the same treatment as the rest , an insider revealed that it was all lies .But will anyone beleive that he was given the same treatment as the rest by our corrupt policemen .

This points once again to the weakness of our Judicial System . The verdict was given after around 8 years , and what is going to happen next . He will appeal against the decsion at some other Higher Court , get bail and the case will again remain pending for god knows how much year . Salman Khan is also famous for his reckless behaviour , having already killed people because of drunken driving . But what has been the outcome so far , was he ever sent to jail , will he ever be . In a country where we claim “Equality for all” , is this really being shown . These rich people always tend to save there asses by the use of money .

Well you all can call it Munnabhai Part 2 . In All India Post Graduate Medical Examination conducted by AIIMS , the doctors used a very high tech and tech-savy method to cheat there way through . The gadget they used was DocuPen , a small pen sized powerful scanner which was used to scan and leak the question paper . The accused used the Docupen to scan the question paper , and then after transferring the scanned data to ther BlueTooth mobile , they sent it out to there contacts via Multimedia Messages .

The contacts then solved the paper and replied via sms . Main things to know were that inspite of the Mobile Phones being not allowed in the exam centre , the accused managed to get them in and it remained unnoticed throughout . The CBI has so far caught around 28 accused but they say that there can be more of them .

Well , this shows another misuse of technology . Technology has been made for the benefit of people but somehow many manage to misuse it for there own purpose . Will all sorts of gadgets being introduced now and there size becoming smaller and smaller , we are going to have more of such things . Once a day will come when we will have Electronic sensors being installed in the exam centres etc .
