BB Flashback Express is a free screen recording software which can record screen activity in real time. It is great for creating demos or tutorials with step by step instructions. It offers a lot of features and you can even add your own voice via microphone or you can also have picture in picture via Webcam. It also includes easy publishing options so that you can easily share your creation with others.

After installing the software, you can begin recording in just a few steps. Click the record button and the recording will start. You can choose to capture the entire desktop, a specific window or a framed region. After the recording is complete, you can review it and make changes. To make your demos more personal, you can also add stuff from your webcam while recording the desktop activity. The Picture in Picture mode is quiet unique. It can record sound from microphone, speakers or from other sources. It can also capture Vista’s Aero effects at a high frame rate. After you have recorded and reviewed the movie, you can export it as AVI or Flash formats or you can publish it to video sharing sites with just a single click. You can upload videos to YouTube, Blip.tv, Viddler or Revver. The URL can then be shared with friend or embedded in any web page.

The program gives you choices when it comes to balancing between quality and size. It is a good screen recording application with some nice features which can make your work easier. It is a freeware and works on Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista.
