Exact Audio Copy is a free Audio Grabber of Audio CDs for standard CD/DVD ROM drives. It works with a technology which can read Audio CDs almost perfectly. If there is any error that can not be corrected, it will mention you the time in which the distortion occurred so it can be controlled in the media player.

It features Jitter correction and 3 levels of extraction which are Secure, Fast and Burst extraction methods. Fast extraction should run at the same speed as other grabbers with jitter correction, but is probably not exact anymore. Burst mode just grabs the audio data without any synchronization. Exact Audio Copy also offers CD write support for some drives and can automatically detect drive features. It is also able to copy ranges of music data, not only tracks. It also supports external MP3, WMA, flac and OggVorbis encoders for automatic compression after extraction. It also comes with a tag editor. A simple wizard guides you through all the steps.

The program is free for personal use and runs on Windows 2000/XP/Vista.
