Windows Repair is a freeware tweaking tool which can fix a large number of known windows problems. It is not a regular tweaking tool but it can be used to repair lots of common problems in system related to Internet Explorer, Firewall etc. The program will also reset a lot of settings to there default values.

On running the program for the first time, a wizard will guide you through several pre requisite steps like cleaning infected files, running check disk, creating a restore point etc. After that you can choose between 3 modes of repair from basic to advanced to custom. Basic mode will run the basic and safe repair options while advanced mode will do some advanced repairs. In the custom mode, you can manually select the repairs that you would like to do. Some of the repairs which it does include Fixing registry permissions, file permissions, WMI, repair Internet Explorer, Firewall, Hosts file, DNS Cache and lots more.

The program is quite helpful if you are facing a lot of common problems because of some malware infection. It is a freeware and works on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
