ImgBurn is a free and a lightweight replacement for Nero Burning software. It supports a wide range of image file formats such as BIN, CUE, DI, DVD, ISO, IMG, MDS, NRG and PDI. It can be used to burn Audio CDs from mostly all of the file types available.

It support various mode which does a variety of tasks. The Read mode is used to read a disc to an image file. The Build mode can be used to create an image file from the files on the computer or the files can be directly be burned onto CD/DVD. The Write mode is used to write an image file to disc. The verify mode enables you to check if the disc is 100% readable. The discovery mode can be used to test the speed of your CD/DVD drive. It can be used to build video DVD/ HD DVD/ Blu-Ray discs easily. It has an ‘image queue’ system which is very helpful when we are burning a lot of images and we have more than one writer.

A very nice free alternative to Nero. It can be used by both new and advanced users. It even supports all the version of Windows and is very light weight.
