Clickster is a MP3 search engine which enables you to listen and download mp3 files from the Internet. All you have to do is type the name of the track or artist and it will search the internet or streams to find the files that match your keyword. It even lets you rip songs from Myspace profiles and Internet Streams. Clickster claims that there way of downloading mp3s is perfectly legal, but i am not going pass my judgment on this. If you want to use the software, do so at your own risk.

After you search, the results are displayed. It also contains an embedded mp3 player so that you can also listen to the song without downloading it. You also get the full URL of the song so that you can also embed it anywhere you like. You can also embed a whole playlist on a webpage. It searches for files that are hosted on free web servers and so you get faster speeds than P2P software without the need to share anything. You can also use it to tune into any of the Shoutcast Radio streams and rip them. It can even rip music from the Myspace profiles. It also claims that its use cannot be detected by any ISP.

With Clickster, you are almost certain to find the track that you want. It is free to use and works on Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/Vista.

  1. I think this is a very useful tool for people working in software companies who spend so much time on internet browsing about MP3 downloads or movie reviews.

  2. Hmm … I wonder how there way is legal. It doesn’t seem any different than regular music downloads - just simpler.

  3. Is it anyhow better than soulseek? It has strong community and lots of music to download
