SwizzTool – Reminder and Task Automation Tool
SwizzTool is a free and multi function software that contains a lot of stuff like alarm/reminder, Clipboard Manager, Built in Memo, functionality to search various Internet sites etc. It allows you to create personal reminders and automated tasks that can launch a program at a specified Date and time, specified weekday or after a countdown has completed.
The tasks can range include things like rebooting the computer, printing the document, adding text to the clipboard or any other things. It has a built in hot key editor using which you can create hotkeys to execute programs and alarms. You can also use hotkeys to control the system volume and other things. It also includes a Built in memo which can be used to save your notes and also create new alarms and search on the Internet. It also contains a small clipboard manager that can save up to three items. The program will quietly sit in the system tray from where you can access it. The interface is very simple and offers some useful functionality.
The program is a freeware and works on all the version of Windows. It requires .Net Framework 2.0 to run.
It’s a great tool for someone working on their own computer the whole time. When I spend half of my time at my office and half at home using 2 different computers I prefer using a reminder and organiser built in my phone - it has less features but at least I have it on me at all times.
