Many times we quickly delete a file from the recycle bin or by using shift delete only to realize that we needed it later. Restoration is a small utility that can help you in restoring deleted files. It wont help you in case you are trying to recover from a major system crash but this is quite helpful in case when you have accidently deleted a file and want to recover it quickly.

It can recover files that have been removed from recycle bin or from computer and it can also be used to recover photos from a memory card. On running it will scan the drive and show all the files that can be recovered. You can filter the result if you know the name of the files or any extension. You also have the option of wiping out the found files beyond simple recovery. It can also recover folders but there is not guarantee that all the files inside it will be there. Mostly it can recover files if that free space has not been rewritten by some other files.

The program requires no installation and can be run directly from a USB drive and you can take it with you wherever you go. The program is free and runs on Windows.
