Carry Your Applications with You on USB Drive with CodySafe
CodySafe is a freeware which allows you to turn your USB drive into a “Computer on a Stick”. You can install it on a USB drive and then it can be used to install your favourite applications on the USB drive so that you can carry it with you anywhere. It can also manage all your USB documents along with the applications. Just stick the USB drive into any Computer and work with your favourite applications.
When you plug the USB drive on any Computer and run CodySafe, it will resemble the Windows Vista Start Menu. All the installed programs will be visible there and you can quickly launch them. All your documents can also be accessed from there. You can categorize your documents into different categories like Pictures, Music, Documents etc. All the installed applications can be arranged into groups for easy navigation. You can also customize which application you want to Autorun. It also has a feature called ‘Drive Doctor’ which can check the health of the hard drive. It also has a “Find If Lost” feature which in case your USB drive gets lost, lets anyone who finds it know your contact information so that they can bring it back to you. If you insert your USB drive into any computer and work on it, all the information will get saved into the USB drive only so it will leave no footprint on the host system.
This is a great utility for managing your USB drive and using it more efficiently. It works on Windows XP/2003/Vista and Windows 7.
