Hide Files/Folders in Local and USB Drives with Folder Hidden

If you carry your files around in a USB drive, then it is essential to protect your files and folders from unauthorized people from security point of view. Folder Hidden is a free application using which you can hide files and folders inside local partitions as well as removable or USB disks and drives. The program offers a simple way to protect the data on your USB drives.

The application can quickly hide files and folders in local partition as well as usb drives. The hidden files/folders will be safely hidden whether the drive is accessed in another operating system on the same computer or reinstalled on another computer. The data remains completely protected even when used in other Operating System. The interface of the program is very intuitive. On running the program, it will ask you to set the password which you will have to enter every time you run the application. To hide and file and folder, just select the files and click the “Hide Files” and Hide Folders button. You can easily unhide them but you will have to enter the correct password. The data will not be visible unless one enters the correct password.


The application is very useful when you are taking your data in a USB drive with you on travel. It can also be used when you are giving your removable drive to a friend but don’t want him to see your private stuff. It is a freeware and runs on Windows.
