ManyCam is a freeware using which you can do a lot more with your WebCam like using it with multiple programs simultaneously or adding special effects to your video stream to have some fun with your friends. The application creates a virtual webcam that duplicates your webcam or camera and then it lets multiple applications access it without any conflict.

ManyCam is compatible with a lot of messengers like Yahoo, MSN, ICQ, Skype etc. To use it, you have to set it as a primary input in different programs that you are going to use it with. It will automatically start when webcam is activated through the program. Apart from that, it also offers a lot of cool features. You can use it to replace your video stream with a still photo or movie file content. It also offers a variety of effects like different face accessories, different foreground and background, CGI animations and many more effects. You can also display a text overlay or date and time over the video. The program installs the Ask toolbar so be sure to disable that during installation if you don’t want it.

The program is a freeware and works on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. It is also available for the Mac.
