27 June 2010 One Comment

GameSave Manager is a freeware using which you can quickly make a backup of your saved game files. If you have a lot of games installed on your machine and you want to format the system, then individually finding the saved games and making a copy of each can take a lot of time. Sometimes, there are chances that your saved game files may get corrupt forcing you to start the game from the beginning. With GameSave Manager, you can easily backup and restore your saved games.

The program will initially scan your machine and will present you with a list of supported games that it finds. You can then select the ones that you want to Backup. The program currently supports around 500 popular PC games. Even if it does not support the game that you want, you can manually add it by pointing the program to the location of the save game files. This will create a custom game save entry which you will be able to use in the future. The program also supports Steam Cache and Steam cloud. If you like, you can even schedule it to perform backup at certain intervals. The program also supports Data compression and other features.

The program is a freeware and works on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.

Nice find! The folders where my saved games are tend to get backed up when I backup the rest of my files but occasionally the saved games are in an odd location.
