Sharewatcher is a freeware using which you can monitor your personal folders which you have shared on the LAN or on the web. If you share files in a LAN or any other network, they you will find this utility very helpful. It informs when your shared files are being accessed and by whom.

You can also use the program to monitor other shared folders and it can notify you when some new files are added to the shared folders. It can also monitor FTP folders and can give you notifications when something gets added. The program has got a simple interface. You can add the shared path that you want to monitor and it will start monitoring them. The program notifies you via system tray messages and it also maintains a log of all the files being accessed by whom and at what time. You can exclude certain file extensions that you don’t want to monitor and you can also change the notifications settings.

The program is a freeware and runs on Windows Vista and Windows 7. It requires .Net Framework 4.
