Kryptelite is a fast and easy to use free encryption program using which you can quickly Encrypt and Decrypt files using industry standard algorithms. It is a free version of Kryptel, and though it lacks many of the its advanced features, it will be quite useful where security demands are not that high.

The program is very easy to use. You can run the program, drag and drop files/folders into the into the program which you want to encrypt. Then enter the password which you want to use for Encryption. It will then create the Encrypted container containing your encrypted files.

The program also integrates with the Windows Explorer and you can quickly encrypt a file just by right clicking on it and selecting ‘Encrypt’. You will then need to supply the Encryption password. It also includes a File shredder using which you can securely erase a file from your Computer. Just right click on the file you want to shred and click the ‘Shred’ option. You have to be careful while using this option as files removed using this option will be unrecoverable.

The program is a freeware and works on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
