Whenever you minimize any open window, the window is minimized to the system tray. RBTray is a freeware which enables you to minimize any window to the system tray instead of the taskbar. This way, you can open a lot of Windows without much cluttering.

The small application requires no installation and it quietly runs in the background. To minimize the window to the System tray, just right click on the minimize button and the window will minimize to the system tray. Click on the system tray icon and window will open normally. Left clicking on the minimize button will minimize the window to the taskbar.

The program is a freeware and open source. It runs on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
