Backup Files and Folders with Yadis Backup
Yadis Backup is a freeware backup program using which you can take a backup of your files and folders in Real Time. It can monitor the files and folders that you specify and take the backup whenever there is any change.
The program has got a simple and easy to use intuitive user interface. You can create a list of tasks and specify the files and folders that you want to backup within each task. The program works in real time so as soon as you make a change, the files are backed up. You can even configure the program to use a versioning system so that it also maintains different versions of the files as backup. The program can also be used with removable drives. If the drive is not available at the present, it will create a backlog of all the changes and will create a backup as soon as the drive becomes available. The program also includes a backup health validation feature.
The program is a freeware and works on Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7.
I just tried it out. This software has some good points. It lets you chose how many versions you want to keep, Lets you filter. For the price it is wonderfull! It lets you give a description to a task which i do like. Thanks Madhur! For obvious reason I am interested in real time backup software.
