Speccy is a freeware system information tool which can provide a good technical overview of your system. Though most the basic system information can be obtained by just right clicking on ‘My Computer’ and then clicking ‘Properties’, but it does not provide you with a detailed information.

Speccy provides you with detailed statistics on each piece of your Computer hardware. Though it may seem like a tool for administrators, even normal Computer users can make use of it. The interface of the program is simple. You get a basic summary of your hardware and there are links which you click to get information about CPU, OS, RAM, Graphics, Memory etc.

The information can be quite useful if you are selling your PC and want to make a quick list of the components. You can even save the specs to a text file or take a snapshot.

The program is a freeware and works on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
