LockHunter Can Delete Locked Files

2 May 2009 One Comment

Sometimes you are unable to delete a file in Windows as it says the file is being used by other processes or Access is denied. This can be quite frustrating at times especially if you want to delete a file. LockHunter is a free tool which can be used to delete files locked by any process. It is simple and easy to use

The program gives you some more options as compared to other programs as it shows you which processes are locking the file. You can view it by right clicking on the file and select “What is Locking this file”. You have a lot of choice after viewing this info. You can either close the locking process to free the file, force the file to be unlocked or even delete the file and delete the process from the disk. The file goes to recycle bin so that you can restore it if you have made a mistake.

The program is a freeware and runs on Windows.

Its really needed type of app. Every computer must have one unlocker application, I should give it a try and see what are the other options available with this tool.
